In the late 1800s, a hobby diver while diving in a Greece shore village known as Antikythera, stumbled across the remains of a shipwreck: Pricey statues, gold and a device that will continue blowing minds of whoever attempts to fathom how it existed in 100 BC.
Above is a section of the Antikythera shore in Greece which features sharp-edged rocks and verocious winds similar to those in the Bermuda.
Upon discovery, the Antikythera mechanism was placed in museum to preserve it and avail it for public exhibition. Over the years scientists got curious about the device and took x-ray blueprints of its inside. On further research it was established that the antikythera was capable of predicting all solar eclipses, lunar eclipses and all the astronomical events; events that humans only began predicting a millenium later. But how was such a device possible in 100 BC?
The answer is engineering - precision engineering. As odd as it may sound, past colonizations were not as dumb as we like to think. The person who created this device was definitely a genius of his time. He must have been a lonely guy, creating precision instruments while most of his peers grazed and hunted. Or it may have been a work of a secret society of elites, something ancient greek is fond of. Whoever created the mechanism may never have his techniques uncovered let alone his identity. His intellectual property sank in a ship and was hidden away from the world for 1000 years. Wrist-watches, which are the closest invention to the antikythera, were first created in late 1800s. Had there been a concrete knowledge-sharing system back then, other intellects of his time would have learnt of the device and carried on the computer revolution. By the time christ arrived, he would have arrived to a civilized world with computers and mechanical devices similar to those of today. But the ship sank and changed the course of history.
Fast forward 1000+ years later, and meet inventor Satoshi Nakamoto.
Satoshi is the inventor of the blockchain and bitcoin. His real identity is unknown.
By inventing bitcoin in 2009 he ushered in a new era of freedom and power from control by corporates and the government. The bitcoin is a technically sound digital gold .The tech behind adds value to whatever it comes across. If humanity embraces the blockchain tech we can make a lot of things efficient and effective. It can improve already existing concepts by increasing safety, security and
change the rules of capitalism to be fair to all. In the meantime corruption, fraud, theft, inflation, insider trading, overtaxation persist.
